Christmas Party Venues Hire Guide

By far the most popular areas of Brisbane to hire for an office Christmas party are in Brisbane CBD between Roma Street and Elizabeth Street and across the Brisbane River between Grey Street and Musgrave Park in South Brisbane.

If you’re keen on fine dining and swanky settings, the city centre is the right place. At the top of North Quay Street, you’ll find venues with beautiful, sweeping views across the river facing Kurilpa Point Park. Many of these spaces provide in-house catering, audiovisual equipment and even on-site parking for your convenience.

The more central parts of the CBD are full of really chic bars, restaurants and hotels which work really well for Christmas parties. Around the areas of George Street, Albert Street and Edward Street we found some very nice bars and restaurants offering great food, cocktails and craft beer to keep all your colleagues full and merry. One particular Italian restaurant had its own antipasto bar and just for that alone it gets our vote. Some venues offer cool outdoor facilities, too! You can even have a dip in a terrace pool, just don’t forget to take off your fake Santa beard first!

Across the water, the vibe is a bit more chilled-out and there are plenty of unique Christmas party venues. There’s a handful of awesome spaces just off Stanley St Plaza, including rooftop style bars inspired by surf culture and cool spots offering fine gastropub dining in a private room. Incredible views of the Southbank area are included. On the edge of Musgrave Park, there are Christmas party venues with jaw-dropping city skyline views from. Some of them even offer private balconies for hundreds of guests!

Now you know where to look for top Christmas party spots in Brisbane, but maybe you need some more inspiration?

Ugly Christmas Sweater parties are all the rage in Brisbane of late, so go all out and get yourself the corniest Christmas sweater you can find. And don’t be afraid to really glam it up too. Add some glitter or some lighting Christmas baubles to really get into the swing of things and celebrate in, well, not exactly style, but in the real spirit of the festivities.

Maybe though you want something a bit more mature and would like to host a Christmas Masquerade Ball. Our of our favourite unique Christmas party ideas though is Christmas Around the World. You pick a country out of a hat and need to dress up in clothing similar to what they wear at Christmas there. Have fun and Merry Christmas!
