No matter which of them you choose to include in your package, you can be sure that your exclusive use of the entire property will ensure that you have an undisturbed and seamless experience. Doxford Barns is an all-in-one kind of venue - you can host both your ceremony and reception here, prepare before the big event and stay overnight as well.

You will find many different, flexible spaces here, prepared for any part of your wedding. The Threshing Hall is a historical, rustic chapel made of stone and featuring beautiful, exposed wooden beams - it has been purposely renovated for hosting wedding ceremonies for up to 160 guests. Moving on, you can host your reception in The Great Barn, full of rustic charm and wooden accents, decorated with romantic fairy lights, and ready to accommodate up to 180 seated or 250 evening guests. Within the Doxford Barns grounds, you also will find a purposely built preparation suite, called The Morning Room, so you can get ready for your special day in peace. After you dance the night away, you can also stay overnight - the venue has prepared space to accommodate up to 69 of your guests.

Doxford Barns stretches across 550 acres of beautiful farmlands that feature many stunning locations and facilities. The entire property is full of photo opportunities and spaces to host both your ceremony and reception.

The relaxed, countryside vibe of this venue is achieved through the carefully restored, historical farm buildings, such as the trademark Great Barn and surrounding greenery, including corn fields and manicured lawns. The venue prides itself on its delicious, locally-sourced food prepared by the on-site gourmet chefs, as well as its flexible wedding packages that allow you to create the bespoke wedding of your dreams.

The venue is situated on the outskirts of the market town of Alnwick, a 2-hour drive from Edinburgh. You can easily reach it by car by following the A1 motorway. This rural location offers you a countryside retreat, where you can unwind and prepare for your special day in peace.
