Thinktank is a place where the historic and ultramodern come alive. We are the only venue in the Midlands where your delegates can enjoy their canapés under the wings of a Spitfire, or dine alongside a talking robot.
But it’s not just about the amazing space we have to offer. Organizing a function can be stressful, so we’re here to make it as easy for you as possible.

The Event Suite at Thinktank, Birmingham Science Museum is more than just a venue. We offer our clients years of event management experience, service with a smile and delicious in-house catering.
Event offers and packages
Package per person
This package includes:
• Hire of the Event Suite (or part of, dependent on numbers)
• Data projector, screen, and one microphone
• Delegate pens and notepads
• Chilled mineral water and healthy brain food pick and mix snacks for your delegates to graze upon throughout your day
• Unlimited servings of freshly brewed ground coffee and an assortment of ethical teas, accompanied by a delicious selection of biscuits
• WiFi
• Buffet lunch
• Arrival refreshments served in the Future Gallery (this area must be vacated by 10 am)
• Complimentary access to the museum on the day of the event until 5 pm
• Fresh fruit served with all refreshment breaks

Thinktank is available for hire for all types of corporate events, from meetings and conferences to conventions, product launches, and receptions. We're the only venue in the Midlands where delegates can enjoy their canapés either under the wings of Spitfire and Hurricane fighter planes.
The venue boasts versatile spaces, dramatic architecture and fascinating museum exhibits. The added attractions of the digital Planetarium and Thinktank Theatre are also available as part of conference and event packages.
