The Garry Weston Library is the jewel in the crown of the Southwark Cathedral suite of riverside rooms. A multi-functional space suitable for presentations, meetings and receptions, clients often remark on the Library’s stunning and dramatic features.

The Library is an ideal reception space for up to 120 people, banqueting for 70 or conference/lecture space for up to 80 people. Fully accessible with plenty of natural daylight, this flexible and versatile room can be set-up as you require.

There is a built in PA system and integrated AV tech with flat screen TV and WI-Fi allowing video conferencing and live streaming for all your meeting and events needs.

Cancellations within 24 hours after booking confirmation will receive a full refund. This excludes events starting within 48 hours.

Cancellations 7 days in advance will receive a full refund.

Cancellations 7 days to 24 hours in advance will receive a 50% refund.

Cancellations for events starting within 24 hours are non-refundable.

Event date of a confirmed booking can be changed to another date within 12 months from the original date, at no cost.

Accommodating up to 250 delegates, there is a flexible mix of atmospheric and contemporary medium to large conference and meeting spaces with a complement of two smaller syndicate rooms at your disposal too. Flooded with natural light, our spaces make for energising sessions. AV options and technical support are all included to ensure your meetings are hassle free.

The magnificent Nave and Retrochoir accommodate up to 800 for a drinks reception or 100-150 for a dinner. With a backdrop that speaks for itself, these spaces have ample space for those large gatherings that are difficult to place elsewhere – this is entertaining on a grand scale.

Perfect for summer parties, relaxed BBQs and networking events, the Churchyard and Millennium Courtyard are rare outdoor spaces in an unrivalled location. Accommodating 700 and 400 guests respectively, guests can soak up the atmospheric of the hustle and bustle of the local area of Borough Market. In the colder months, the spaces are an excellent option for a marquee reception.
