Our guide to Brighton venue hire

The famous seaside resort of Brighton is to be found on the south coast of England, about 80 km south of London. While the traditional seaside attractions are certainly be found on Brighton Pier, the city’s pubs and numerous clubs are also a great draw. Hotels are in plentiful supply, especially in waterfront districts such as the city centre and Kemptown.

Check out picturesque 16th-century neighbourhood of The Lanes for great indie cafes and eateries. Nearby North Laine offers great theatres, art galleries, studios and small venues. Check out New Road for historic large venues the Brighton Dome and the Theatre Royal. Or head over to Jubilee Street for modern options such as restaurants and cafes.

Kemptown, home to Brighton’s LGBT+ community, is an area with a great eclectic vibe, especially along the area’s main artery, St. James’s Street. You can find a wealth of rocking bars, clubs and cafes here. For a larger venue in Kemptown, check out the Marlborough Pub & Theatre.

There are some other great areas of Brighton that don’t face the sea, residential district Hanover is a bit of an uphill climb towards Queen’s Park Road, but its picturesque streets have some cosy pubs and restaurants worth a look. North of the city centre is Seven Dials, a district rich with Victorian townhouses and a great selection of global cuisine. Meeting rooms and other professional spaces are easily accessible from the Brighton rail station near here.
