Corporate Event Venues Booking Guide

When you need to book a venue in Toronto for your next great corporate event, you may find yourself stuck for inspiration. But if your goals are clear, you are sure to find the right place. Toronto is a great city for corporate event planning, with hundreds of venues of all sizes, and easily navigable neighbourhoods to suit any need.

If you are hunting for a smaller venue for a company social event, training or employee retreat look for venues that can create an intimate atmosphere. Check out any of the downtown area venues, particularly ones with a great location and panoramic views such as The One Eighty on Bloor St in Yorkville. You can also look into some of the larger entertainment venues such as ballrooms if getting your staff to mingle is your intention. Restaurants, particularly those with a bar area, could also be a good fit for a smaller crowd.

If you need a bigger, more formal venue for clients or potential clients, look into some of the venues that hold 60 or more people. Check out a place like Artscape Sandbox, a blank canvas venue in the dead centre of the Entertainment District, which will allow you to host your guests just as you like. You might even hunt down The Bram and Bluma Appel Salon, located in, believe it or not, the Toronto Reference Library at Yonge and Bloor. You may not be cozying up with a good book here, but you will definitely be impressing your clients with your good taste! Larger function rooms and ballrooms might also be a good venue choice for a crowd.

For larger crowds check out Toronto’s numerous conference centres and theatres, such as the Capitol Event Theatre at Yonge and Eglinton which will hold an eager corporate audience of 650. These larger sized venues would be great for a sales kick-off or a large scale conference or trade show.
