A light airy space with natural daylight, our Upper Arch is perfect for Birthdays, Engagement parties, standing receptions or after-work drinks.

Our Upper Arch is a semi-private area on our upper floor that opens out to our main bar area shown in the background.

It has a raised area at the opposite end leading to outside with our comfy curved pink booth adding a pop of colour in the space.

To make your evening more exciting we can supply a Beer Pong table in front of the poster with the red horse for some added interactive fun for your guests and costs £25 per game.

We also have a DJ on from 9pm on Fridays and Saturdays playing a mix of commercial R&B, Pop, House and Club Classics (Kisstory vibe).

Seats 20 for dinner or 50 for a standing reception.

Beer Pong

We’re one of the newest places to play Beer Pong in London town and you can book one of our Beer Pong tables for just £20 which includes everything you need for a game including the beer to play it with!

Beer Pong is available Tuesday to Saturday from 5 pm onwards, plus every Tuesday you get two hours of Beer Pong for the price of one to show your friends who’s best when it comes to hitting those cups.

SAMA bankside was the perfect place to host my 30th, i'm so glad I found it. I hired the semi-private upper arch which was ideal because it gave me and my guests our own space for catching up, playing beer pong etc., but still with access to the shared bar and dance floor. Early on in the night it was quite quiet, which was great to give everyone a chance to chat and mingle, but after about 10pm it got busier and more and more people appeared upstairs to drink and dance. Kate and Steve were particularly helpful in helping me plan the evening. I really appreciate Steve talking me through my options (and answering my many questions) on the phone and helping me decide which drinks and food to order ahead of the party (we settled on pizza, which the guests really enjoyed). Also a big thank you for choosing to DJ next to our party, everyone loved the music and had a great time!

About SAMA Bankside

The location is a twin railway arch venue set over 2 floors and is located next to Blackfriars Bridge on the south side of the river in the shadow of Sea Containers and the OXO Tower (nearest stations are Southwark or Blackfriars).

Venue is industrial in style with exposed brickwork, a reclaimed upper wooden floor and polished concrete lower floor with chesterfield sofas, cosy booth seating in bright colours and unapologetic artwork to get your guests talking.

Space is available for booking from 6 to 300 guests. There is a bar and toilets on each floor and full catering options available.

We have a separate Private Dining and Meeting Room that can accommodate 20 people seated or 30 people for a standing drinks reception.

The venue is available until 12am Monday - Thursday and until 1.30am Friday and Saturday.
