FAQs
We’ll get back to you within 24 hours with a quote or follow questions, if required. You won’t get a generic quote - we need to understand your needs in order to offer a relevant solution.
Phew! That’s a tough one, as the range is big. We’ve got interactive mini-game quizzes, 3D escape rooms or murder mystery games with immersive interruptions. You can top it with a drink or cooking masterclass, standup comedian performance or perhaps a casino experience. The real question is, what are you looking for?
We believe our hosts are a big part of the event experience and that’s why we give you the finest Quiz Masters only. Some of our events run on AI or can be self-hosted (if you please), but 90% of the experiences come with a Host, so that you can have some fun rather than worry about hosting for your team!
This depends on the event type. We run events for groups as small as 4 people with the biggest events capped at 1000 people. The average group size is around 50 people. And we might advise different games depending on how big your team is and how well they know each other - just ask away.
Some of them, yes. We have quite a few activities which run on dedicated platforms, designed especially for the purpose of team building - like our best selling game, The Team Quest. We’ve built that platform from scratch! Some other activities, like e.g. Drink Masterclasses, run on Zoom or any other communication platform of your choice - MS Teams, Google Meet or Webex are fine!
Each client is different! But we’re seeing a lot of demand for IRL team building replacement, social happy hours, Office Parties (both Summer and Christmas Parties) or company anniversaries. Plenty of our customers use our services for their onboarding and recruitment processes, farewells too! And lastly, it’s a great idea to recharge your energy on a conference day or a Kick Off with a lighthearted social activity
Team split does not apply to all our activities, but where relevant - it’s up to you. We can go with a pre-approved list of attendees for each team or assign people on arrival randomly, depending on the brief. Putting people in teams in a random order helps them get to know each other better and does not require any effort from your side, just saying.
This can be really tricky, we know. Our advice? Book for a rough estimate and let’s keep the communication flowing, so that we can make necessary changes if needed. You know your team best, so try to find a slot suitable for most and plan ahead, so that people can block their calendars. You can always book for less participants and increase the bookings until 48 hours prior to the event - the sooner the better of course!
We can send out gift hampers prior to the event (on demand), so that everyone gets a box of goodies to get them started. In terms of prizes, it’s your call - if you want the team to get something more than bragging rights and you have the budget/prizes for it, discuss it with our Event Producers, so that the hosts are aware and communicate the prizes during the event. Fair warning though, prizes make the events more competitive!
Majority of our activities are customizable, just tell us what you have in mind and we’ll advise whether possible. For example, Virtual Social event can be fully personalized with games about your team only, we can create on demand locations for Amazing Race or bespoke horse names and branding for the At The Races Game. Enquire for an activity you like and we’ll tell you what’s possible.
We can do so for some event types! For example, after a standard Virtual Social game you’ll get photobooth pictures as well as any art created during the Pictionary game. We can create short videos or GIFs as a premium. Similarly, for Amazing Race we can provide you with a highlight reel (Gold Package).
On average, our events last around 1-1.5 hours, with some shorter ones (Desert Island, if you’re fast or a short Masterclass session) as well as those more lengthy (Jury Duty, Amazing Race). Our bestsellers, Virtual Social and At The Races, both traditionally last an hour but we can customize the event length for you, with shortest options capped at 20 minutes. We keep the events engaging and concise.
Enquire via our platform, we’ll confirm the availability and pricing and we’re ready to book! In order to confirm your event, all we need is your company billing details: address and VAT number (for non-UK customers only). We’ll revert with a booking confirmation and an invoice, our Event Producer will reach out to you to discuss the gameplay scenario with you.
Our Event Producer will reach out to you to discuss the details of your event and any information or requirements we should be aware of to make it a success! We’ll walk you through instructions on how to join, explain the event game plan and provide you with assistance prior and during the event - we always provide technical support. After the event, we’ll schedule a feedback session to discuss your experience.
Most of our events have the same requirements: laptop, headphones or earphones and a stable internet connection. For some activities, you might need a pen and paper (e.g. to write down clues!) or the ingredients delivered to you in a hamper box (drinks masterclasses!). If a game runs in the browser, Chrome is our recommended one. None of our games require apps to be downloaded.
We test the games on toughest users, who get easily distracted and have high expectations. If we can’t keep your crowd engaged - we’re doing something wrong. For example, in Virtual Social captain role switches each question, so there’s no way players will be distracted with other tasks. In the Man On the Moon game, each team member has a different role and has to do different tasks - you wouldn’t let your team down, would you? If you’re not paying attention in At The Races, the competition will sabotage your efforts. We do our best to tailor the experience to your team to avoid boredom and awkwardness, the host keeps tally of the group and we focus on short-span activities and interactive content over one-way performances.
No, no downloads are required for our games. You can play using your computer browser only.
We’ve hosted over 500 events for over 300 companies and more than 7000 participants, to name a few, we frequently work with Cisco, Google, Amazon, Symphony or Merck. We like working with startups too, Nethone, Permutive, Hopin or 10clouds to name a bunch.
Yes, but make sure those are in line with our T&Cs. If you have any additional items for your order, our team will support your requests. Should you need to cancel or postpone, feel free to reach out and we’ll walk you through the process.
Most of our events include facilitators, but some events have live performances! If you’re up for an immersive experience, make sure to check out Amazing Race (cooking with a real thai chef or a yoga class with an India-based guru and more!) or perhaps The Jury Duty & The Inquest (question suspects as you go, show no mercy!)
Absolutely, remote global teams are our most frequent customers. The main challenge here is to find a time slot that will fit everyone’s calendar and we’re good to go. If your team is a very international one, we would do our best to adjust the content to them, so that everyone can relate. We can also give you a host relevant for the crowd, e.g Czech, Italian or German!
We’ll do our best to adjust to your teams’ needs, but we might offer a different activity to what you originally planned to make sure the language barrier is not an issue. Some of our Hosts are bilingual and we can offer content in a few languages, perhaps this would help? Feel free to reach out and we’ll give you the best options for your group
You can join without one but we believe joining with a webcam on increases the interaction between participants. Come on, don’t be shy - our Host will have the webcam on as well!
