About London Wetland Centre

This amazing wildlife conservation reserve is the best urban site in Europe to watch wildlife and an international award winning attraction. One of nine UK wetland centres managed by the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust, this 43-hectare reserve is an example of sustainable development on a grand scale. Four disused reservoirs were transformed through careful landscaping and recycling of materials into a haven for wildlife and people, which opened to the public in May 2000.

Located on the banks of the river Thames in Barnes, only 10 minutes from Hammersmith, the centre is home to rare and beautiful wildlife. Within the spectacular setting a number of unique rooms are available to hire for a range of daytime and evening events such as conferences, team away days, dinners, seminars and exhibitions.

We have ample free parking for guests.
